• We are hiring immediately for a full-time COLD FOOD (SALAD) position.

  Full-time. Monday – Friday, 6:00 am – 2:30 pm. More details upon interview.

  Food Service and customer service experience required.

Summary: Cuts delicatessen meats, vegetables and cheeses with slicing machine, knives or other cutters. Prepares and serves sandwiches, salads and other cold food items.

• Obtain daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the Chef.
• Prepare sandwich meats, cheeses, condiments and salads using approved production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
• Stock and replenish deli/cold products and condiments following approved merchandising guidelines.
• Carry pans, kettles and trays of food to and from workstation, stove and refrigerator.
• Store food in designated areas following HACCP standard wrapping, dating and rotation procedures.
• Clean, sanitize and maintain counters, work surfaces, refrigeration units and floors in preparation and serving areas.
• Place meat, cheese or vegetables on cutting board and cut slices to designated thickness. Position and clamp meat or cheese on carriage of slicing machine, adjust knob to set machine for desired thickness, press button to start motor that moves carriage past rotary blade that slices meats and cheeses.
• Interact with coworkers to ensure compliance with company service standards, inventory and cash control procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment to comply with sanitation, Serv Safe and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
