Lila’s, an exciting cocktail bar, is seeking experienced bartenders to join our team. Lila’s is the perfect combination of playfully inspired beverages and cuisine for all ages. Located inside the Hampton Inn & Suites in the heart of the neighborhood of play, featuring a full bar and covered outdoor patio Lila’s is the perfect place to enjoy a cocktail and small plates with friends and family alike.

Ideal candidates will have experience with craft cocktails as well as advanced beer and wine knowledge, preferably in a high-end and high-volume environment. We are looking to add to our dynamic team that has a desire to create a memorable experience for our guests, whether they are guests of the hotel or just stopping in for a drink. Job Title: Bartender/ Server

Reports To: F&B Manager

Summary

Mix and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks for patrons of bar and restaurant by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform opening and closing side work per checklists.
  • Greet customers, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding drinks and menu items.
  • Take drink orders from customers or Servers. Prepare cocktails in accordance with standard beverage recipes.
  • Take food orders from guests and submit to kitchen for preparation.
  • Properly record all sales transactions and secure accurate payment.
  • Wash glassware as needed.
  • Familiarize and be knowledgeable of current food and beverage offerings, including wine lists and cocktail menu.
  • Provide current information pertaining to hours and available services of the hotel and surrounding areas.
  • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the Lounge and surrounding areas.
  • Assist in checking all fixtures, equipment and conditions (lights, heating/cooling, furniture, wallpaper, etc.) for proper operation, settings and maintenance. Report deficiencies.
