Seasonal Merchandising Service Associate - Weekends

Pay Range: $16.50 - $17.20 per hour. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. • Provides SMART customer service at all times through the daily execution of Lowe's customer service policies, procedures and programs
• Builds relationships with vendors by providing direction and checking to ensure merchandise resets are completed according to Lowe’s specifications
• Collaborates with the Merchandising Service team and Manager by communicating project priorities, schedule, and project needs (e.g., materials, supplies, time)
• Analyzes metrics and provides feedback on project execution and in-store service to store, market, and corporate leaders
• Although majority of time of time will be spent in activities that do not involve direct interaction with customers, the individual in this role is expected to engage with customers when the opportunity arises, including: understands customers’ needs and assists in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and/or loading merchandise; engages with customers to understand their needs; listens to and responds to questions;
  
  demonstrates sincere appreciation to customers; communicates information regarding stock, special order merchandise, feature benefits, application, and warranty information related to Lowe’s programs
• Maintains in-stock items and assists with product placement, signage, pricing, and location updates per merchandising standards and planograms
• Moves, builds, and displays products and materials using appropriate equipment per project instructions
• Identifies damaged products, removes them from shelves, and processes returns or disposal as needed
• Verifies buyback items and ensures they are prepared for shipping
• Maintains accurate pricing information and signage; updates way finding and product location signage; ensures price changes are implemented
• Stands up store safety and cleanliness standards and uses safety equipment as required
• Operates store equipment as needed (e.g., lifts, order pickers, and other equipment)
• Performs other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or GED. General Studies or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education where applicable

• 6 months of Lowe’s sales floor experience
• 6 months of experience performing product merchandising tasks, including reading planograms and plantograms, and setting up and tearing down displays
• 3 months of experience operating power equipment such as lifts and order pickers
