Zone Team Leader

Position Overview

The Retail Zone Team Leader is responsible for guiding and directing the operation of a specific zone of the retail sales floor. They oversee a team focused on merchandising and sales, ensuring an exceptional associate and customer experience. Responsibilities cover all aspects of merchandising, signage, props, replenishment, pricing, advertising, and control of store standards.

• Execute established procedures for assigned zone—merchandising, signage, displays, replenishment, pricing, ad sets, and daily recovery.
• Ensure that store standards, operational compliance, seasonal planning, inventory processes, and company programs meet all operational expectations.
• Oversee process to ensure merchandise is planned for and received, and that the sales floor is properly stocked.
• Ensure proper scheduling and staffing for effective unload/processing of merchandise to the sales floor, driving associate productivity and customer service standards.
• Supervise associates in the assigned zone and communicate company directives to ensure follow‑up.
• Perform all team‑leader functions to open and close the store when needed and complete additional responsibilities as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1‑2 years of supervisory experience with a mid‑to‑large‑size retailer.
• Schedule flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
• Positive attitude and team player who interacts well with customers and associates.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a constant state of alertness and safely.

New hire starting pay: $18.25 - $19.25 per hour. Pay ranges may vary by location and are based on location, position, experience, skill level, qualifications, and other relevant factors. Associate pay will not be below the minimum wage for the specific location in accordance with local requirements.
