Sales Associate PT – Part‑time position at the NYROC Public Store, located at 2710 W Henrietta Rd, Rochester, NY 14623.
Shifts:
Monday to Friday 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, up to 28 hours per week.

From developing new partnerships to growing existing ones in your book of business, you’ll unleash your potential by communicating the value of our inventory management solutions using a consultative sales approach. This position is for our branch located at 2710 W Henrietta Rd, Rochester, NY 14623.
Responsibilities- Support business-to-business sales and customer service activities.
- Provide value to customers through a consultative sales approach.
- Develop new and grow existing relationships from leads, referrals, and prospecting.
- Coordinate resources to respond to customer service needs.
- Perform local sales calls driving a company vehicle to customer sites.
- Perform other duties as needed to ensure branch success.
- 18 years of age or older.
- Possess a current full valid driver’s license issued in the country where the job is located and a clean driving record sufficient to use a company vehicle.
- Possess or are working toward a degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, Management, or a related field, OR have customer service or industry‑related work experience.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Strong aptitude for sales and a desire to sell.
- Highly motivated, self‑directed, and customer‑service oriented.
- Strong math aptitude, attention to detail, and sense of urgency.
- Strong organization, planning, and prioritizing abilities.
- Strong problem‑solving, deductive reasoning, and decision‑making skills.
- Demonstrate Core Values of ambition, innovation, integrity, and teamwork.
- Physically able to lift, slide, carry, and lower packages that typically weigh 25 lb – 50 lb and may weigh up to 75 lb.
- Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam only).
- Pass a background check required by a customer/contract serviced by this location.

CompensationThe pay range for this position is $18/hr – $20/hr in addition to base pay, this position is also eligible for a bonus and/or commission.
