Location: City of Rochester

We’re seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and self-driven Field Sales Engineer to join our team in the Upstate NY region (Rochester, Syracuse, Binghamton). This role is ideal for someone eager to build a career in high-tech sales and thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented industry. Please note this is an entry-level position designed for someone 0-5 years into their career.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing accounts in your territory
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities based on market trends and customer needs
  • Promote innovative products and solutions from our manufacturers
  • Communicate effectively in both one-on-one and group settings
  • Lead productive meetings, document key takeaways, and follow up on action items
  • Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, marketing, and operations teams
  • Act as a trusted resource for product and industry insights
  • Serve as a liaison between manufacturers, distributors, customers, and global sales channels
  • Deliver professional sales presentations and maintain accurate sales forecasts and reports
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering is required
  • 0-5 years of professional work experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills
  • Must have a personal vehicle for required local travel within territory; occasional overnight travel
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and collaborative team player
