Sales Development Rep/SDR, Sales Representative, Inside Sales, Business Development
The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) for the Government sales group will report to the Senior Director, Sales Support. The ISR is responsible for lead follow up and prospecting for local, state, and federal government accounts. The ISR will work closely with Sales Reps, the business development team, and various sales support roles within the Government business unit.
This is a hybrid role based out of our Rochester, NY office offering a base compensation of $19-$21.63/hr, plus uncapped commission potential with a total OTE of $54,500-$65,000 - perfect for ambitious professionals looking to grow their earning potential.
- Conduct outreach via calls and emails to qualify leads.
- Present the value of Eagleview's cutting edge technology to businesses with integrity, professionalism, and knowledge through mostly virtual demos.
- Leverage your natural personality and energy to build genuine relationships with clients and establish yourself as a trusted consultant partner.
- Manage and maintain an active pipeline of leads in the CRM system, ensuring timely follow-ups.
- Successfully leverage consultative sales skills to build, work, and close your pipeline of business.
- Learn and grow your sales skills through mentorship from experienced managers, peers, and senior closers in a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitors to uncover business opportunities.
- Collaborate with sales teams to align outreach efforts and refine messaging strategies.

- Experience in or demonstrated ability to achieve lead qualification and activity metrics (entry-level candidates with strong drive are encouraged to apply)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software such as
- A strong communicator with sleuth-like listening skills and a knack for easily connecting with people
- Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask
- Strong phone communication and cold calling skills (we provide training and coaching to develop these skills)
- A fast thinker with a strong ability to challenge customers to try something new
- Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Previous experience in an outbound call center or consultative sales position preferred; however, recent graduates with sales internship experience or demonstrated enthusiasm for sales are encouraged to apply
- Familiarity with sales-related software such as Gong, Outreach, Highspot and Linked In preferred but not required
- Knowledge of or experience in "tech" or software sales, as well as experience or education in the GIS, Real Estate, AEC, Government and/or Insurance industries.
