Rental Account Manager

Ryder System is seeking a results-driven Rental Account Manager to grow and manage rental and lease business within our Transportation & Logistics portfolio. In this Sales & Business Development role, you'll prospect and close new accounts, deepen relationships with existing customers, and design rental and fleet solutions that improve efficiency and reduce costs. You'll collaborate closely with operations, marketing, and leadership while using data and CRM tools to forecast, report, and optimize performance.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of rental and lease accounts within the transportation & logistics sector
• Prospect, qualify, and close new business to meet revenue and profitability targets
• Develop tailored fleet and rental solutions aligned with customer operational needs
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts in collaboration with internal stakeholders
• Monitor account performance, resolve service issues, and ensure high customer satisfaction
• Partner with operations and logistics teams to ensure seamless service delivery
• Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and pipeline updates using CRM tools
• Analyze market trends and competitors to identify growth opportunities
• Collaborate with marketing and leadership on sales strategies and campaigns
