The Inside Sales Engineer is a full-time role based in Rochester, NY. This role is responsible for responding to customer inquiries, preparing accurate quotations, and providing technical guidance on products and solutions. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing specifications, sizing and selecting appropriate equipment, coordinating with vendors for pricing and availability, and following up on quotes to convert opportunities into orders. The Inside Sales Engineer will collaborate closely with outside sales, engineering, and operations teams to ensure timely order processing and a positive customer experience.

The role also involves supporting customers with troubleshooting and product information, and contributing to sales targets and overall business growth.

• Demonstrated Inside Sales and Sales experience, with the ability to manage inquiries, follow up on opportunities, and build strong customer relationships.
• Experience in Sales Engineering and Technical Support, including understanding customer applications and recommending appropriate technical solutions.
• Proficiency in preparing detailed Quotations, reviewing specifications, and interpreting technical documentation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
• Comfort with MS Office tools, and basic data entry for tracking quotes, orders, and customer interactions.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, managing time and tasks
