Schedule
:
Fully Remote Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm

Length of assignment: ~5 month contract with potential for extension

Pay: $55-70/hr Depending on experience

This person would serve as Toxicologist and biocompatibility expert in support of new product development and maintenance of business.

• Responsible for non-clinical safety assessment and biocompatibility strategies
• Collaborate with NCS staff on project coverage
• Serve as NCS representative on Project teams
• Design and execute testing strategies, as appropriate and manage study and nonclinical safety issues
• Authors and reviews department’s technical documents
• Collaborate with other functions (e.g., Product Development, Analytical Chemistry, Regulatory, Quality, Compliance) to set project strategy
• Present data and interpretation to teams
• Responds to Regulatory queries

• MS or PhD in Toxicology, Pharmacology, or related discipline
• At least 5 years of relevant med device industry experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of biocompatibility testing within med device.
• Familiarity with ISO standards.
