Schedule
:
Fully Remote Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm
Length of assignment: ~5 month contract with potential for extension
Pay: $55-70/hr Depending on experience
This person would serve as Toxicologist and biocompatibility expert in support of new product development and maintenance of business.
Responsibilities- Responsible for non-clinical safety assessment and biocompatibility strategies
- Collaborate with NCS staff on project coverage
- Serve as NCS representative on Project teams
- Design and execute testing strategies, as appropriate and manage study and nonclinical safety issues
- Authors and reviews department’s technical documents
- Collaborate with other functions (e.g., Product Development, Analytical Chemistry, Regulatory, Quality, Compliance) to set project strategy
- Present data and interpretation to teams
- Responds to Regulatory queries
- MS or PhD in Toxicology, Pharmacology, or related discipline
- At least 5 years of relevant med device industry experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of biocompatibility testing within med device.
- Familiarity with ISO standards.
