Analytical Chemist

** Kelly Science and Clinical has a new, long term temporary opportunity for an Analytical Chemist in Rochester, NY!*
* ** A Long Term Temporary Opportunity*
* ** Shift:
** 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday-Friday

** Pay:**  $25-$35/hour, depending on experience

** Key Responsibilities*
* + Conduct analyses using High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC/UHPLC) and UV-Vis Spectroscopy.

+ Utilize sample preparation techniques and apply basic polymer chemistry knowledge in experimental work.

+ Generate, review, and interpret analytical data to support internal projects and regulatory compliance.

+ Adhere to laboratory safety standards and quality protocols.

** Qualifications*
* + Bachelor's in Chemistry (or equivalent) with 0-3 years of chromatography and lab experience

+ Hands-on HPLC/UHPLC operation

+ Experience in method development, validation, and various sample prep techniques (e.g., extractions, SPE), given preference

+ Understanding of analytical chemistry, organic chemistry, and polymer science

+ Instrument maintenance and troubleshooting skills

+ Strong technical writing and communication abilities

+ Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.

+ Reliable, attentive to detail, and motivated.

+ Effective organizational and multitasking abilities.
