Analytical Chemist
Kelly Science and Clinical has a new, long term temporary opportunity for an Analytical Chemist in Rochester, NY!
A Long Term Temporary Opportunity Shift: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday-Friday Pay: $25-$35/hour, depending on experience
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct analyses using High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC/UHPLC) and UV-Vis Spectroscopy.
- Utilize sample preparation techniques and apply basic polymer chemistry knowledge in experimental work.
- Generate, review, and interpret analytical data to support internal projects and regulatory compliance.
- Adhere to laboratory safety standards and quality protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Chemistry (or equivalent) with 0–3 years of chromatography and lab experience
- Hands-on HPLC/UHPLC operation
- Experience in method development, validation, and various sample prep techniques (e.g., extractions, SPE), given preference
- Understanding of analytical chemistry, organic chemistry, and polymer science
- Instrument maintenance and troubleshooting skills
- Strong technical writing and communication abilities
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Reliable, attentive to detail, and motivated.
- Effective organizational and multitasking abilities.
