What Your Impact IsSupport environmental site investigations and remediation projects that influence major development, infrastructure, and environmental cleanup initiatives.
Collect, evaluate, and document environmental data that supports scientific analysis and decision-making.
Contribute to regulatory compliance efforts through accurate fieldwork, data management, and technical reporting.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to help clients identify and reduce environmental risks.
Advance ERM's commitment to sustainability by delivering high-quality environmental consulting services.
Build technical expertise through hands‑on experience across a wide variety of environmental projects and field conditions.
What You'll Bring- Required BS in geology, hydrogeology, environmental science, or environmental engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 2-3 years of experience, with interest and willingness to participate in field assignments.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within project teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience recording and writing detailed technical data and reports.
- Ability to thrive in a consulting environment, managing multiple tasks, adapting to shifting priorities, and meeting strict deadlines.
- Detail-oriented, with mechanical aptitude and hands‑on problem‑solving skills.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to established Health & Safety protocols.

Required:
This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area. - This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
- Preferred Environmental fieldwork experience.
- 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification.
- Conduct environmental fieldwork, including Soil, sediment, groundwater, building, waste, and surface water sampling.
- Aquifer testing.
- Drilling oversight and soil logging.
- Soil boring and monitoring well installation.
- Well development, purging, and sampling.
- Construction oversight.
- Coordinate and direct drilling, surveying, and laboratory services.
- Support environmental remediation/demolition projects and operation and maintenance (O&M) of remediation systems.
- Compile and evaluate soil, groundwater, air, sediment, and other environmental data.
- Assist in preparing reports for regulatory agency submittals.
- Review groundwater chemistry data and prepare figures and exhibits for regulatory reporting.
