You will perform routine rounds, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, support access control points, and document observations with clear reports. You will also assist employees and visitors with professional customer service and timely communication, while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity. What You'll Do:
* Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
* Control access at designated entry points by checking identification, managing visitor sign-in and/or badging requirements, and directing guests to the proper contacts or areas.
* Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and documenting actions taken per post orders.
* Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production and office areas, parking lots, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
* Complete routine documentation such as daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs, and communicate observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as required.

Minimum Requirements:

* A New York State Security Guard License is required.
* CPR Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
* Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
* Customer service experience is preferred.
* Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
