Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Responder in Rochester, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic aero and defense location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access activities with professionalism.

12:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do:
* Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities within a defense and aerospace location.
* Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify and report security-related concerns.
* Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help support authorized access for employees, visitors, and contractors according to site policies.
* Assist with reporting hazards, facility issues, and/or suspicious behavior, and follow post orders related to sensitive operations, property, and information handling.

Minimum Requirements:

* A New York State Security Guard License is required.
* Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
* Access control and badge experience is preferred.
* CPR certification is preferred.
* Customer service experience is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
