As a Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Driver in Rochester, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. • Provide customer service by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with store leadership and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the sales floor, parking areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and security-related concerns.
• Monitor high-traffic areas and support loss prevention awareness by observing customer and visitor activity, reporting suspicious behavior, and documenting security-related incidents.
• Assist with opening and closing activities, help control access to restricted areas, and complete required reports, logs, and other security-related documentation.

• A New York State Security Guard License is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
