Position: Safety & Security Officer - Lead - St. Mary's Campus, Security (Full-Time, Nights)
Rochester Regional Health - 89 Genesee Street - Responsibilities:
Shift Support & Supervision:
Assist the Supervisor in overseeing shift operations, ensuring staff performance, professional conduct, and completion of assigned duties.;
Security & Safety Response:
Maintain a visible command presence, patrol buildings and grounds, and respond to routine and emergency incidents to protect patients, staff, visitors, and property.;
Patient Monitoring & Support:
Monitor psychiatric patients as directed by medical staff and manage patient property in accordance with departmental procedures.;
Reporting & Compliance:
Complete accurate reports, logs, and documentation; recommend procedural improvements; and enforce departmental and hospital policies.;
Leadership Coverage:
Perform the duties of shift supervisor or line officer when needed, advise on employee performance, and ensure proper equipment usage and readiness.
