Security Officer Patrol Unit

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

• Friday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Saturday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and or emergency response activities within a dynamic aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, controlled areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and guide visitors and deliveries in accordance with site protocols for restricted and operational areas.
• Prepare clear, timely reports on incidents, patrol activity, and policy‑related concerns, and support Allied Universal and site leadership with security‑related follow‑up when appropriate.

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
