Job Schedule- Mon – 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Tue – 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Wed – 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Thur – 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access‑related activities, and when appropriate, emergency response actions within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter grounds to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help deter unauthorized access, support visitor management practices, and report maintenance or environmental issues that may impact daily operations.
- Support healthcare location operations by following post orders, maintaining a visible presence, and assisting with security‑related inquiries, directions, and/or de‑escalation when appropriate.
- A New York State Security Guard License is required.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
