Rochester Regional Health - 100 South Kings Highway - Responsibilities:
Training & Development:
Complete required security training, certifications, and shadowing to learn hospital policies, procedures, and emergency protocols;
Security Operations (Under Supervision):
Assist with patrols, access control, CCTV monitoring, incident response, and emergency drills while gaining hands-on experience;
Safety & Risk Awareness:
Identify and report hazards, participate in fire safety checks, and support patient and visitor safety initiatives;
Reporting & Documentation:
Prepare clear, accurate incident and activity reports while learning investigatory and documentation practices;
Professional Conduct & Teamwork:
Uphold hospital values, demonstrate integrity, and work collaboratively under guidance to develop into a fully independent Security Officer
