Job Description As a Security Officer Security Clearance Dispatch Operator in Rochester, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Dispatcher supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will coordinate communications, monitor alarm activity, document incidents, and direct response resources to help maintain a secure environment. You will provide professional customer service, maintain accurate records, and serve as a critical communication link for security-related operations.

Job Schedule:

Day Time Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Fri 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do:
* Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
* Monitor incoming calls, radio communications, alarms, and other dispatch-related systems; accurately document and relay information to appropriate personnel and/or responding teams.
* Coordinate responses to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
* Maintain detailed activity logs, incident reports, dispatch records, and other required documentation in accordance with site-specific policies.
* Support access control and visitor management activities, including verifying credentials and directing authorized individuals to appropriate locations.

Minimum Requirements:

* An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
* Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
* Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
* Customer service experience is preferred.
* A guard card or license is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
