Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 1st shift hours

As a Lead Systems Technician
, you will be responsible for the servicing and/or installation of commercial integrated systems including Burglar and Fire Alarms, Access Control, and Video. Possesses strong technical aptitude and effective interpersonal skills.

• Complete system servicing and/or installations of various types of integrated systems.
• Complete servicing and/or installation of basic to advanced network devices.
• Complete routing and scheduling for commercial service jobs.
• Complete programming and commissioning for security, fire, access control, and video surveillance systems.
• Assist with new technician training.

• Education & Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of fire detection and signaling systems experience (burglary, fire alarm, CCTV and access control).
  • 5+ years industry experience — Preferred.
• Certification/License:
  • Must possess a Valid Driver’s License.
  • Must possess or be willing to secure FASA/BASA certification.
  • State licensing is required.
  • ESA Certified Alarm Technician Level 2 or equivalent — Preferred.
  • NICET Fire or Video Level 2 — Preferred.
  • Completion of minimum training/certification checklist required per Technician Career Path OR equivalent experience and demonstrated expertise.
• Communication:
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with various individuals in a professional manner in order to provide superior customer service.
• Technical:
  • Understands software and programming for the primary manufacturers used by their home branch.
  • Possesses the skill to decipher/design integrated systems in conjunction with local jurisdiction requirements.
