Qualifications to Be Considered
- Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on experience installing Cat 5E, Cat 6, Cat 6A, Fiber Optic, and coax cabling with proven troubleshooting skills.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Install, terminate, test, and certify a variety of cabling systems, including copper and fiber.
- Perform closet buildouts, structured cabling installation, and equipment setup.
- Operate and maintain fiber testing tools such as OTDR and other fiber certification equipment (experience a plus).
- Complete assigned work orders and daily tasks on time and within budget.
- Maintain professional communication and conduct at all times.
- Ability to read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and technical documents to determine cabling layouts and service needs.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and diagnosing cabling system issues; able to make repairs as needed.
- Ensure all work meets applicable codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
- Team player with strong collaboration skills.
- Willingness to travel to various job sites and work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Preferred Certifications: OSHA 10, Scissor Lift, Boom Lift.
