Installs, tests, troubleshoots, and repairs a variety of air conditioning and refrigeration systems; maintains air conditioning and refrigeration equipment of all types; performs preventive maintenance on installed equipment;
Supervision and direction received:
Under minimum supervision;
Supervision and direction exercised:
May guide, direct and train lower classified trades personnel;
Keeps records and makes reports of daily work, emergency/service calls investigated, service rendered, results of troubleshooting and general condition of equipment and systems;
Performs installation of equipment using blueprints, sketches, specifications and manufacturers recommendations;
Tests and balances air and chilled/hot water systems
