Meet Bausch + Lomb at our Electro‑Mechanical Technician Hiring Event Date & Time:
Tuesday, June 16th, 12:00 p.m.–5:00 p.m.

Staybridge Suites at Rochester, 1000 Genesee Street, Rochester, NY 14611A day in this role Picture yourself moving from a control cabinet to a motor drive, tracing a fault on a schematic, swapping a motor, and verifying operation before updating your log. You’ll partner with teammates to keep production assets healthy—using your knowledge of electrical/electronic systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics to diagnose issues, perform repairs, and boost reliability.

What you’ll tackle

Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical problems across a range of equipment.

Interpret electrical schematics to isolate faults and implement fixes.

Perform motor maintenance, repair, and replacements.

Apply pneumatic and hydraulic knowledge to optimize machine performance.

Collaborate with peers to enhance uptime, reliability, and efficiency.

Document maintenance and repair actions with accurate records.

Communicate equipment status clearly with teammates and supervisors.

Use basic computer skills to complete documentation and reports.

Shift options and premiums

We offer two 12‑hour schedule choices with built‑in overtime and days off:

Rotating Day/Night:
Week 1:
Mon/Tues (6 AM–6 PM), Fri/Sat/Sun (6 PM–6 AM);
Week 2:
Wed/Thurs (6 AM–6 PM)
Straight Nights: 6 PM–6 AM on a 2‑2‑3 rotation

Shift Differential: $1.25/hr for days; $2.50/hr for nights

What you’ll bring

High School diploma or GED.Hands‑on experience diagnosing and repairing equipment.

Strong grounding in electrical/electronic systems and schematic reading.

Mechanical troubleshooting with a focus on motors.

Background with pneumatics and hydraulics.

Clear communication and effective teamwork.

Shop math abilities and basic computer proficiency.
