Position OverviewProfeta Painting is looking for a motivated and dependable Entry-Level Commercial Painter to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start or build a career in the painting trade.
In this role, you’ll assist with preparing and applying coatings to a variety of commercial and industrial surfaces, both interior and exterior. You’ll work alongside experienced painters and receive hands‑on training in tools, techniques, and safety practices.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with surface preparation including scraping, sanding, patching, caulking, and priming
- Apply paints and coatings using brushes, rollers, and (with training) spray equipment
- Help complete projects in commercial settings such as offices, warehouses, and retail spaces
- Maintain tools, equipment, and job site cleanliness
- Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors
- Support project timelines while learning to maintain quality standards
- No prior commercial painting experience required (training provided)
- Basic construction or labor experience is a plus, but not required
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Comfortable working at heights (ladders, scaffolding, lifts)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor throughout the day
- Any experience with painting, construction, or general labor
- Familiarity with hand and power tools
- OSHA 10 certification (or willingness to obtain)
