Dutiesand Responsibilities
- Maintain and monitor all residential building systems; performing routine preventative maintenance as necessary (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.)
- Provide interior improvements such as patching drywall, painting, making repairs to equipment and appliances, etc. as needed
- Maintain exterior premises of the residential property including snow removal, grass cutting, gardening, tree pruning, etc.
- Ensure all residential vehicles are maintained properly and that all necessary inspections are completed
- Maintain and monitor required Life Safety devices
- Construct simple therapy/residential materials and/or equipment as designed by the treatment team to paint, varnish and/or cover such materials and/or equipment
- Transport materials and/or equipment between residences
- Assist in the opening and closing of the pool where applicable
- Tend to emergencies that may arise
- Other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid NYS Driver’s License
- Experience in drywall repair and painting
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English including interpreting documents such as safety rules and policy and procedure manuals
- 6 months to 1 year related experience
- General knowledge of building systems (plumbing, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, etc.), blueprints and building code
