Salary Range: $25-$35/hr. depending on experience

Location: Marathon, NY

Position Summary

• Operators will be responsible for operating a variety of equipment including back hoes, excavators, loaders and skid steers to support our civil construction projects.
• This is a TEMPORARY position.

Responsibilities

• Operate various types of construction equipment safely and proficiently.
• Perform routine inspection and maintenance on equipment and tools.
• Perform carpentry and laborer tasks as required.
• Report directly to job site on a daily basis.

Requirements

• Must be able to demonstrate skills in the safe operation and daily preventative maintenance of backhoes, excavators, loaders, and skid steers.
• Have no lifting or physical restrictions.
• Communicate effectively and respectfully with the public and Clients.
• Work outdoors year-round in all types of weather.
• Demonstrate safe and proper use and maintenance of all company tools and equipment.

Working Conditions and Physical Effort

• Work involves almost constant exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, and/or loud noises.
• Considerable physical activity. Requires heavy physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required.
