University of Rochester - 601 Elmwood Avenue - Responsibilities:
Performs service calls, work orders, preventative maintenance, emergency repairs, and reconditioning work;
Disassembles, inspects/examine system components such as receiver controls, electronic, pneumatic controls, dampers, and valves to detect mechanical, electrical, electronic and pneumatic malfunctions making recommendations, necessary repairs or replacement;
Has functional working knowledge of Building Automation Systems and related HVAC equipment;
Troubleshoots HVAC and mechanical systems. Performs root cause analysis to identify failure and needed repairs to maintain safe and efficient operations;
Must solder, braze and weld all types of materials such as brass, copper, & aluminum alloys
