Field Service II Technician- Walker

Canon USA is looking for individuals who strive for excellence in operational, maintenance, and networking support to help our valued customers with basic technical expertise of Canon‑supported products.

• Diagnose basic mechanical, software, network, and system failures using established procedures.
• Service and repair designated equipment to Canon standards and specifications.
• Maintain working knowledge of multiple product groups, including basic aspects of troubleshooting and diagnostics.
• Meet and exceed customer demands by providing efficient, responsive, and accurate field, shop, or on‑site maintenance.
• Properly maintain all technical information, field service reports, expense reports, and Canon property.
• Provide direction to less experienced technicians and maintain all technical information and Canon property.
• Provide solutions for escalated technical or customer service‑related problem areas for any territory requested.

• HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required, plus 1 to 2 years of related experience.
• Basic understanding of internet environments and ability to complete the 120‑day introductory period and the PDIF (Printing and Digital Imaging Foundations) new‑hire class.
• Required to obtain all necessary security and/or other clearances required by customers to enter premises.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be active more than 50 percent of the time (walking, standing, stooping/kneeling).
• Customer‑facing role requiring compliance with customer policies and protocols, including COVID‑19 vaccination and other measures.
• Hourly rate: $19.00 – $26.31.
• Will serve clients within the Manhattan, NY area.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and reside in the United States at the time of hire. No visa sponsorship will be provided.

Full‑Time, On Site – the position requires full‑time presence at your assigned office(s)/worksite(s)/territory on scheduled work days.
