Industrial Operations Technician

• Learn to operate and monitor industrial mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Assist with the operation of boilers, turbines, generators, pumps, compressors, and other plant systems.
• Perform routine inspections and monitor equipment performance to identify potential issues.
• Record operating data and communicate equipment conditions to experienced operators.
• Support startup, shutdown, troubleshooting, and emergency operating procedures under supervision.
• Assist with preventive maintenance, equipment inspections, lubrication, cleaning, and minor repairs.
• Learn computerized monitoring and control systems used to operate industrial equipment.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and regulatory procedures.
• Participate in ongoing technical training and certification programs.
• Work collaboratively with operations and maintenance teams to maximize equipment reliability and performance.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical school, military training, apprenticeship, or an Associate's degree in a mechanical, electrical, industrial, or related field is preferred.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, utilities, industrial maintenance, power generation, process operations, or a skilled trade is a plus.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Basic understanding of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read gauges, meters, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Comfortable learning computerized equipment monitoring systems.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to successfully complete required pre-employment screenings.
