• Starting salary of $33-$35 per hour depending on experience

• Monday – Friday, every week
• Second shift: 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm
• No weekends
• Repair/maintenance shop at Rochester, NY hauling site

• Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment
• Estimate time and material costs on vehicle repairs and new parts
• Perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs)
• Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns
• Conduct safety checks on vehicles; safety of employees and community is top priority
• Complete required paperwork documenting parts usage and accounting for repair times
• Assist senior mechanics in project work
• Review, complete, or assign repairs from Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports
• Maintain clean, safe work area per Corporate/OSHA standards and safety procedures

• 2 years of relevant work experience
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Over 18 years of age
• Legally eligible to work in the United States
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations
• Successfully complete and pass pre‑employment drug screen and physical examination

• Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, and climbing; constant standing, walking, and grasping; occasional sitting and balancing
• Exposure to cuts, burns, toxic chemicals, and other physical risks often
• Exposure to dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes, and similar elements often
• Work in both indoor garage/shop or outdoor conditions including inclement weather, heat, and humidity
