DIESEL MECHANIC JOB - ROCHESTER, NY

• Repair & maintain diesel trucks/heavy duty fleet vehicles
• Work on trash trucks, roll off trucks, and flatbeds
• Diagnose problems using tools and equipment
• Fix brakes, engines, steering, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Perform routine PMs & inspections
• Keep simple service records

• At least 1 to 2+ years' Diesel mechanic experience on medium or heavy trucks
• Hydraulic system experience required
• Own your own tools. Have reliable transportation to get to and from the shop(s)

• Monday to Friday (Shift hours may be flexible)
• First and Second shifts available (shifts generally start anywhere from 4 a.m. to 9 a.m., ending at 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.

• 40 hours guaranteed, with Overtime almost always available

• Paid Weekly
• Pay $30 to $35 per hour based on experience PLUS many bonuses

Hours:

Monday - Friday 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm;
No weekends;
Londonderry, NH hauling site (normal setting a repair/maintenance shop)

What you’ll do:

inspect, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems; complete required paperwork; safety checks; respond to service calls; maintain a clean work area.

Requirements: 4 years of relevant work experience; valid driver's license; ability to perform physical work; pre-employment drug screen and physical; DOT compliance; willingness to work various shifts.
