Overview
School Bus fleet Mechanic for a detail-oriented shop. The role is for an experienced Diesel Mechanic Technician / Auto Mechanic to join our growing fleet. The individual will perform regular PM inspections and prepare the fleet for DOT inspections. Pay rate is based on experience.
Responsibilities- Perform preventive maintenance inspections and repairs on the school bus fleet.
- Prepare vehicles for Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). and repair diesel engines and related systems.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Diesel engine repair experience: 1 year (required).
- Driver's License (required).
- Full-time
- Pay: $17.00 - $26.00 per hour
- Expected hours: 40 per week
- Shifts:
Day and Night available; 10-, 12-, or 8-hour shifts; overtime; weekends as needed
- Health insurance
- Paid time off
