Diagnose, maintain, and repair problems on major diesel components and systems including engine, brake, transmission, electrical, air, and other related subsystems;
Perform maintenance and repair work on both tractors and trailers including brakes, cab, engine, fifth wheel, transmission, tires/axles/wheels, suspensions, AC and air systems;
Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections; maintain records of PM services and repairs;
Schedule work through shop to maintain PM schedules, repairs, and state/federal vehicle inspections;
Oversee repair work performed by outside vendors; perform running repairs and state/federal inspections on trucks and trailers
