Commercial Service Electrician

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Service Electrician to diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical systems in commercial and industrial properties. You will respond to service calls, troubleshoot complex system failures, and ensure code compliance.

• Troubleshoot and repair faulty electrical systems, including 3-phase machinery, control panels, and circuitry.
• Install conduit, wiring, lighting fixtures, and power distribution systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on commercial electrical infrastructure and switch gear.
• Ensure all work adheres to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local safety standards.

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in commercial or industrial electrical service.
• Expert blueprint reading, conduit bending, and digital multi-meter diagnostic proficiency.
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and excellent customer service skills.

• Safety oriented with OSHA certification.
• Experience with saws, drills, utility knives, ohmmeters, and testing tools.
• Experience running crews and being customer service oriented.

Work is conducted at commercial and industrial locations, all local to Rochester. The standard working hours are from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

This is a permanent position based out of Rochester, NY.

The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $38.00/hr.
