Position: Heavy Construction Equipment Technician

Location: Rochester, NY

Salary: $21-$38 per hour

Job Type: Full-time, Day Shift

We’re looking for a skilled Heavy Construction Equipment Technician to join our team at Tracey Road Equipment. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and overhauling mechanical and pneumatic equipment used in the construction industry, including backhoes, graders, wheel loaders, and more. You will be responsible for ensuring all equipment performs up to the manufacturers’ specifications and adheres to safety standards.

• Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs.
• Test and adjust equipment to meet performance standards.
• Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and fix issues.
• Maintain records of maintenance and repairs.
• Proven experience with electrical systems and heavy equipment maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Relevant technical certifications are preferred.
