Are you someone who enjoys diagnosing problems, working with your hands, and making a visible impact every day? Morgan Properties is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team at a 292-unit apartment community in Rochester, NY. In this role, you ll help create a safe, well-maintained environment for residents while working alongside a team that values accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

• Base Pay: $21.00 – $23.00 per hour
• $1000 sign on bonus
• Up to 50% Rent Discount
• Property Staff Shared Renewal Commissions
• On-Call Appreciation: $15/day for holding the on-call phone

• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, carpentry, and other maintenance-related issues
• Perform preventative maintenance to help protect and preserve community assets
• Ensure the interior and exterior of the property are maintained in accordance with company standards and compliance requirements
• Respond to service requests in a timely manner while providing a positive resident experience
• Keep residents and team members informed through clear, professional communication
• Support the overall appearance, functionality, and upkeep of the community

We re seeking a maintenance professional who can work independently, think critically, and adapt to changing priorities. The ideal candidate is committed to doing the right thing, values the contributions of others, and approaches each day with the initiative and determination needed to get the job done.

• Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Paid rotating on-call participation required
• Must be available and prepared to respond to emergency situations as needed

Schedule subject to change based on business needs.

• Active, valid driver s license and personal vehicle
• HVAC / EPA / CFC certification preferred
• One year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

If you are hired at Morgan Properties, your overall compensation package will also be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
