Morgan Properties is seeking a Service Technician to join the team at Elmwood Terrace, a 220-unit community in Rochester, NY. Compensation & Schedule$21.00–$23.00 per hour
Monday–Friday: 9:00 AM–4:00 PM
$15 per hour for on-call shifts
$300 Morgan Essentials quarterly incentive
What You'll Be Doing- Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, fixtures, switches, outlets, and circuits.
- Complete resident work orders and service requests within established time frames while delivering quality customer service.
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspect property equipment to identify malfunctions, unusual sounds, and other issues.
- Complete make‑ready apartments, including repairs, trash removal, carpet cleaning, painting, and other turnover needs.
- Maintain and inspect smoke detectors and fire extinguishers.
- Assist with property inspections and know the location of gas, water, apartment shutoffs, and sewer cleanouts.
- Maintain a clean and organized maintenance shop and help manage maintenance supplies.
- Respond to on‑site emergencies, including snow and ice events, as needed.
