Canon U.S.A. seeks a Field Service I Technician to install, maintain, and repair digital imaging and printing equipment for business customers. Based in the field, you'll diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, replace parts, and calibrate systems to ensure peak performance. You'll train end users on basic operation, document all service activities, and communicate clearly with customers and support teams. This role suits candidates with strong electromechanical skills, solid customer service, a valid driver's license, and interest in Canon's innovative imaging technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and test Canon imaging and printing equipment at customer locations
  • Diagnose hardware, software, and connectivity issues and perform timely repairs
  • Conduct preventive maintenance, adjustments, and calibrations to maximize uptime
  • Replace and configure parts, consumables, and modules according to service standards
  • Educate end users on basic operation, care, and troubleshooting of equipment
  • Document service activities, parts used, and findings in service/ticketing systems
  • Coordinate with technical support and logistics teams to resolve complex issues
  • Maintain company tools, vehicle, and inventory in safe, organized condition
  • Adhere to safety, quality, and data security procedures at customer sites
  • Foster positive customer relationships through professional communication and reliable service
