We’re seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians who want steady, year-round work and the chance to make a real impact for residents.

$24–$27 per hour

Pay depends on your experience, technical skills, and certifications. If you know apartment maintenance, can troubleshoot issues fast, or have EPA/HVAC certification, you’ll be considered for the higher end of the range.

• Turn apartments and get vacant units ready for new residents
• Clean, remove debris, and patch/paint walls during make-readies
• Handle basic plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, and HVAC repairs
• Respond to resident service requests—quickly and professionally
• Inspect units, complete checklists, and prep for agency inspections
• Stay on top of routine and preventative maintenance throughout multiple properties
• Keep grounds, common areas, and curb appeal in top shape
• Use a smartphone app to track work orders and document repairs
• Pitch in at other Rochester communities as needed
• Help with snow removal and seasonal needs
• Respond to after-hours emergencies as required

• At least one year of hands-on maintenance experience
• Experience in apartment, building, hotel, or facilities maintenance
• Working knowledge of turns, painting, drywall, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and basic HVAC
• Ability to spot maintenance problems and know what to do next
• Basic computer and smartphone skills
• Strong organization, time management, and communication
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance
• Able to lift 50 pounds and work inside/outside in all weather
  
  Flexibility for after-hours emergencies and travel between sites

• Direct apartment or multi-site maintenance experience
• EPA/HVAC or OSHA certification
• On-call rotation experience
• Hospitality/hotel maintenance background
• Customer service skills
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
