Oak Hill Country Club is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our year-round Facilities team. This is a hands-on position where no two days are exactly alike. You'll help maintain a beautiful 355-acre property while gaining experience across a variety of building systems, repairs, and facility projects.
You don't need to be an expert in every trade to succeed here. We're looking for someone who is dependable, mechanically inclined, takes pride in their work, and is willing to learn. Whether you have several years of maintenance experience, a background in the trades, or recently completed a technical or vocational program, we'd love to hear from you.
Position DetailsStatus: Full-Time, Year-Round
Schedule: Full-time schedule based on Club operations, with occasional mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Compensation: $22.00-$27.00 per hour, based on experience
What You'll Do- Perform routine maintenance, preventative maintenance, and repairs throughout the Club's facilities and property.
- Troubleshoot and assist with repairs involving plumbing, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, carpentry, painting, drywall, and other building systems.
- Complete work orders and respond to maintenance requests from Club departments.
- Assist with facility improvements, remodeling projects, seasonal maintenance, and other hands-on projects.
- Use hand and power tools safely and properly.
- Work alongside outside contractors and specialized vendors when needed.
- Respond to maintenance issues and emergencies to help keep our facilities safe, comfortable, and operational.
- Inspect equipment, facilities, and building systems and communicate potential problems before they become larger issues.
- Maintain an organized workspace, tools, equipment, and maintenance inventory.
- Follow all Club safety procedures and applicable OSHA standards.
- Support the Facilities team with other projects and responsibilities as needed.
We're looking for someone who is reliable, hands-on, and eager to learn.
You may be a great fit if you have:
- Previous experience in maintenance, facilities, construction, mechanical work, or the skilled trades.
- Experience or familiarity with one or more of the following: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, drywall, refrigeration, or general building maintenance.
- A technical, vocational, or trade school background.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and an ability to troubleshoot problems.
- Comfort using hand and power tools.
- A willingness to learn new skills and take on different types of maintenance projects.
- The ability to work independently while also being a dependable member of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in completing quality work.
- A professional, service-oriented approach when interacting with Club members, guests, and employees.
- The ability to perform physical work throughout the day, including walking, standing, bending, climbing, and lifting up to 75 pounds as needed.
