Facilities Maintenance Technician

In this role, you'll put your maintenance experience to work by handling a variety of projects including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, flooring, painting, roofing, and general facility repairs. No two days are the same, making this a great opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, working independently, and seeing the direct impact of their work.
What You'll Do:- Perform routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance repairs
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, flooring, painting, and roofing issues
- Conduct building inspections and identify repair needs
- Complete service requests with quality workmanship and excellent customer service
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors on specialized projects
- Prepare units for tenant turnover
- Order materials, maintain inventory, and manage supplies
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and provide technical support when needed
- 5+ years of experience in facilities or building maintenance
- Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance
- HVAC experience preferred
- Valid New York State driver's license
- Reliable vehicle to transport tools and equipment
- Proof of automobile liability insurance
- Basic maintenance tools (or willingness to obtain them)
- Smartphone for communication and work-related tasks
- EPA Certification preferred
Earn up to $25/hour
Monday-Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

This is a Permanent position based out of Rochester, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
