Pridestaff is working with a local manufacturer that is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. The Maintenance Technician will maintain and troubleshoot automated production equipment and robotic systems. The ideal Maintenance Technician candidate has at least 3 years of mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment and knowledge of robotic systems. The Maintenance Technician is a full-time, direct-hire position in Webster, NY.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, Repair, Adjust & Service Automated Robots & Auxiliary Equipment
• Provide & Follow a Thorough Preventative Maintenance Program to Include Cleaning & Lubrication of Machinery
• Assemble Component Parts
• Maintain Inventory of Supplies
• Perform Repairs on Defective Circuit Boards, Sensors & Motors
• Ensure Accurate Service Records are Maintained
• Repair & Program Controller & End-of-arm Tools
• Read, Understand & Follow Machine Operation Manuals to Identify Problems
• Respond to Emergency Equipment Breakdowns
• Manage & Prioritize Tasks to Achieve the Necessary Goals
• Follow All Company Safety Policies & Procedures

Maintenance Technician

Job Requirements:

• HS Diploma or GED Equivalent
• 3-4 years of Mechanical Experience & Knowledge of Robotic Systems
• Must be able to Read & Understand Blueprints & Operation Manuals
• Must be Experienced Using Hand Tools & Mechanical Testing Equipment;
  Welding & Plumbing Experience is a plus
• Have Basic Math Skills & Computer Proficiency
• The Ability to be Proactive & Identify Potential Issues & Take Precautions Before Equipment Failure
• Must Be Able to Communicate Clearly (Both Verbal & Written)
• Must be Able to Stand, Walk, Balance, Stoop, Kneel, Crouch & Crawl
• Must be Able to Lift to 50 Lbs
