The Heating Air Conditioning Service Technician role is a full-time, on-site position located in Rochester, NY. The technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential and light commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. Day-to-day tasks include performing service calls, troubleshooting equipment issues, completing preventive maintenance, and installing or replacing HVAC components. The role involves communicating clearly with customers about findings, repairs, and maintenance recommendations, as well as documenting work performed and parts used.

The technician is also expected to follow safety protocols, adhere to company standards, and collaborate with team members to ensure timely and high-quality service.

• Demonstrated HVAC technical skills, including troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of heating and air conditioning equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and work orders, and use standard HVAC tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues in clear, accessible language.
• Proven reliability, time management, and attention to detail, including accurate documentation of service activities.
• Understanding and application of safety procedures, codes, and best practices in HVAC work environments.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record for traveling to customer locations in the Rochester, NY area.
• Relevant technical training or certification in HVAC; industry licenses or EPA certification are preferred.
• Previous experience in residential or light commercial HVAC service is beneficial but not strictly required.
