Responsibilities
- Execute the full lifecycle of low voltage projects, from initial rough-in to final system commissioning and testing.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical malfunctions in security and communication hardware to minimize client downtime.
- Interpret intricate blueprints and technical schematics to ensure precise system integration.
- Maintain high-quality standards for cabling, terminations, and device installation across diverse commercial environments.
- Document service activities and system performance metrics to ensure accurate project reporting.
- Collaborate with site leadership and stakeholders to deliver seamless project handovers and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
Required Skills- Proven expertise in the installation and troubleshooting of low voltage systems, including fire alarms and access control.
- Strong proficiency in reading and applying technical blueprints and wiring diagrams.
- Physical capability to perform tasks involving ladders and lifting up to 75 lbs.
- Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and solve field-based technical challenges.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in the low voltage or security industry.
- Advanced knowledge of modern structured cabling techniques and system components.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with customers and project teams.
