The Kodak Rochester Facilities (KRF) group is responsible for the management of buildings and site services, contract and supplier management, fire department, inspections and risk management, and several supporting operational services, and supports Eastman Business Park growth and strategic initiatives.

Position Summary

The Security CCTV/Radio Technician provides repair, maintenance, installation, testing, commissioning, programming, and design for Monitoring systems and Radio equipment for all Kodak Rochester facilities.

Specific Responsibilities
  • Maintain cameras and other field hardware that are part of Kodak Rochester Security CCTV system
  • Work with Kodak Security to troubleshoot and correct problems
  • Replace cameras and/or encoders as needed
  • Re-aim cameras, as needed
  • Document current system (camera/lenses/encoders)
  • Perform installations of CCTV field equipment Fixed mount/PTZ cameras
  • Verint encoders
  • Utilize any re-purposed equipment, purchase new equipment as needed.
PA/Building Emergency Notification Systems at Kodak Rochester
  • Maintain, manage and repair Public Address (PA) systems and Building Emergency Notification Systems (BENS) not integrated to Simplex Systems.
  • Excludes: PA/Phone lines (intercoms) for parking lot gates (Ring down, direct-dial phones, turnstile phones, etc.)
  • Excludes:
    Telephone Lines
  • Continue to monitor for alarms at Kodak Control Center. No service call response required.
  • Set up and operate projectors, displays, microphones, speakers, cameras, and video-conferencing systems.
  • Connect and configure audio/video equipment, cabling, and control systems.
Education Required
  • High School diploma or GED
  • 5 years equivalent experience in a related field in an industrial/manufacturing environment
Physical Requirements
  • Regularly lift and or move up to 25lbs/12kg.
  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 50lbs/23kg.
  • Regularly required to stand; walk; sit, bend, and talk or hear.
  • Heights; may require some work off a step ladder
  • Frequently required; use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms.
  • Work may require employee to be exposed to inclement weather conditions.
  • Some Repetitive work: use of hand tools
