The General Adult Psychiatry RN is responsible for providing competent direct patient care in an adult psychiatry unit, supporting peers, and enhancing the care delivery system. This role is ideal for those passionate about psychiatric nursing and looking to work in a collaborative environment.

• Provide direct patient care based on established standards.
• Contribute to unit activities and support the enhancement of the care delivery system.
• Support peers in the delivery of patient care services.
• Assume expanded roles such as charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities.
• Engage patients in therapeutic groups and activities throughout the day.
• Utilize a modified team model of care and milieu management.
• Work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
• Care for individuals aged 18+ requiring acute stabilization of psychiatric symptoms.

• New graduates encouraged to apply.

• Experience in psychiatric nursing preferred.

• Current RN License in New York.
