ResponsibilitiesAs a Counselor Assistant, you will be responsible for providing services that help guide clients to achieving their goals. This role partners with clients, East House staff and external providers to coordinate services. You will play an essential role in coaching and teaching within the scope of the programs service. The Counselor Assistant teaches, provides support and assists in the daily upkeep of the environment, assists clients with follow through with appointments and assists with treatment recommendations.

QualificationsAn East House Counselor Assistant is required to have a high school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years human services experience. Valid NYS motor vehicle license, safe driving record and availability of a personal use vehicle for work.
Education & Experience- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in human services.
- Valid NYS motor vehicle license with a safe and clean driving record.
- Ability to use personal vehicle for work purposes.
