Case Aide – Men's Emergency Shelter

Location: Samaritan House – Rochester, NY
Schedule: Full-Time | [Tuesday-Saturday 8am-4pm]
Starting Pay: $18.00/hour

As a Case Aide at Open Door Mission
, you'll work directly with shelter guests while supporting the day-to-day operation of our emergency shelter. You'll help create a safe, structured and compassionate environment for people experiencing homelessness and other significant life challenges.

This is a direct-support position, not a traditional case management role, and you will not carry your own caseload. You'll work alongside experienced shelter and case management staff while gaining hands‑on experience with client support, community resources, documentation, crisis response and housing services.

Your primary responsibility is helping the shelter operate safely and effectively while providing day-to-day support to our guests.
